- Raw Khair Blossom Honey is a monofloral honey. Many people might think that organic Khair honey is infused with extracts or powders, like ice cream or juice, but it’s not.
- To obtain monofloral natural khair honey, beehives are placed near pure Khair flower fields in Kutch, Gujarat allowing honeybees to collect Khair nectar from flowers. This results in unprocessed Khair honey without any other additives and flavored by honey bees. Uniqueness about Khair honey: Unpasteurized Khair honey offers a sweet and slightly tangy aftertaste. As for color, it tends to be light amber to dark amber depending on the floral nectar.
- Why do we keep our honeybees in remote location to collect Khair honey? When honey bees have an abundant source of flowers, they become productive, creating more honey. Honey bees also pollinate the plants, which leads to better quality food. This is the symbiosis between honey bees and plants. This also creates an ecosystem where farmers and honey beekeepers benefit mutually.
